- Discover the role of Moses in leading the Israelites out of slavery and how this image is reflected in literature and history.
- Analyze the figure of Moses as an epic hero and Exodus as an epic.
- Learn about the wanderings of the Israelites in the desert and the formation of the Sinai covenant.
- Trace the Israelites entering and conquering of the land of promise.
