IMAGE GALLERY 1: The Museum of Psalms by Moshe Tzvi Berger
Moshe Tzvi Berger was born in Transylvania in 1924. A Holocaust survivor and Kabbalist, he studied art in Rome and Paris. His Museum of Psalms is a series of visual depictions of each of the 150 psalms painted over the course of 15 years. Berger's color schemes utilize the seven colors of the spectrum, based on the Zohar, the mystical book of Kabbala, and are intended to represent the 10 sefirot (mystical aspects of God).
